Beam Inc. Donates $100,000 To Hurricane Relief Efforts

Deerfield, Illinois – November 6, 2012 – Beam Inc. (NYSE: BEAM), a leading global premium spirits company, announced today that it will make a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross to directly aid those impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.

Half of the Beam donation is earmarked specifically from Skinnygirl®, Beam’s low-calorie, industry-leading ready-to-serve line of wine, vodka and ready-to-serve cocktails. In collaboration with Skinnygirl founder Bethenny Frankel, the brand is donating more than $100,000 to the East Coast relief efforts.

In addition to the corporate contribution, Beam announced that it will match employees’ personal charitable donations dollar for dollar up to $1,000 per employee. Beam employs more than 3,300 team members around the world.
